In this episode, filmmaker Franco Galvan shares his journey from studying multimedia production to building a career in Los Angeles’ competitive film industry. Franco reflects on the importance of having a strong support system, finding mentors, maintaining a positive mindset, and building meaningful connections with people from around the world.

The conversation explores the growing influence of technology, social media, and artificial intelligence on filmmaking and everyday life. Franco discusses his belief in a hybrid approach to filmmaking with AI, where emerging tools enhance scenes and creative possibilities without replacing the actors, cinematographers, and other professionals who bring a production to life. He also highlights the legal and ethical questions surrounding AI and the growing importance of consultation, transparency, and fact-checking.

Beyond filmmaking, Franco talks about staying active through basketball and walking, keeping up with new technology, and using platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn to connect with others. The discussion also touches on the power of personalization and how even small, thoughtful gestures can have a meaningful impact on customer experiences and professional relationships.

Currently working on a feature film and exploring ways to combine live-event marketing with filmmaking, Franco offers practical lessons from his career about navigating change, embracing technology thoughtfully, finding the right mentors, and creating genuine relationships. His story is a reminder that while technology continues to transform creative industries, human connection remains at the heart of lasting success.
