Old Makeup Is The New Makeup

One of my favourite things about makeup is revisiting old products that I used to love but haven’t used in awhile.

I have lots of different foundations but I recently picked up the first foundation I ever used and immediately fell in love with it again.

I remember discovering it on a school trip . A girl in my dorm used it and I immediately asked her about it and bought it as soon as I got back.

I can’t even remember why I stopped using it, maybe because I was a little bored and wanted to try something else…

It was so nice to go back to something I loved, it was almost comforting!

I also recently finished a mascara and decided instead of buying another, it was about time to make my way through all my mini testers.

One of those testers was the Benefit They’re Real mascara.

Now this mascara was the first high-end product that I ever bought. I got it with some birthday/ Christmas money when I was eleven or twelve years old.

I absolutely loved it then and the only reason I didn’t repurchase it was because I couldn’t afford it.

Now, five or so years later, I am reusing it and I still love it just as much!

It made me think maybe some of the bits of makeup that I have dismissed over the years are maybe worth having another look at.

It also makes me want to try some new makeup that I may not have thought about trying as I am so set on what I use.

How can you reminisce about old products when you haven’t had the chance to miss them!?

Look back at what you used and retry them. It may be just what you are looking for!
